Does Kortscore run
on my watch?
The short answer: yes, if the watch runs Wear OS 3 or newer and is paired with an Android phone on Android 8 or newer. That covers every Samsung Galaxy Watch since 2021, every Google Pixel Watch and the current watches from OnePlus, Mobvoi and Xiaomi. The long answer is below.
How to find your Wear OS version
On the watch under Settings → About → Software version, on Samsung under Settings → About watch → Software information. If it says Wear OS 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7, Kortscore runs.
Samsung Galaxy Watch
Every Galaxy Watch from the Watch 4 on runs Wear OS. The Watch 4 is the oldest watch Kortscore runs on. Galaxy Watch 3, Active 2 and older run Tizen and are not compatible.

What does not work
- Apple Watch: not yet. The version for iPhone and Apple Watch arrives in the coming weeks, the waitlist is on the start page.
- Galaxy Watch 3, Active 2, Active, Gear: Tizen instead of Wear OS.
- Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, Suunto, Coros, Huawei, Amazfit, Xiaomi Smart Band: their own systems, no Wear OS.
- Wear OS 2: Fossil Gen 5 and older, Moto 360, TicWatch Pro 3 without the update: too old.
And the phone?
Kortscore needs an Android phone on Android 8 or newer with the Kortscore app from the Play Store. The watch keeps score on its own; the phone holds history and statistics and sends the live ticker online. The phone's brand does not matter. An iPhone does not work with a Wear OS watch.

No problem. All that matters is the Wear OS version: 3 or newer and Kortscore runs. How to find it is explained above.
Is an LTE watch enough without the phone?
For scoring, yes, the watch needs no connection for that. For the live ticker the phone has to be within Bluetooth range, because the phone is what sends the score online.
How much battery does a match use?
A three-set match costs 15 to 25 percent of battery, depending on the watch. A fully charged watch gets you through a whole league day.
